During our prior move from our last data center to the new New Orleans location, we decided to completely rebuild the site. It has incorporated new several features (Chat, Blogging, Groups, etc.) as well as the latest versions of the core software. We hope to have it all done by the Christmas of 2025.
The updated Chat server (XMPP) of project is fully operational and you should not have any issues with it. It has the latest encryption software and uses a new key size to reduce the chances of anyone trying to monitor the converstion. Assuming your XMPP client supports it, you can do end to end (E2EE) message encryption. The following clients are known to support this E2EE function: "Conversation"; "PSI"; "JITSI"; and "GAJIM". While JITSI is our personal favorite, the choice is yours.
A way to chat using your web browser. Please note that using a dedcated chat client may be more secure however.
The web client is found here.
The Meeting server is here: here.
